LEADING TOWARDS AN ACTIVE LIFE USING ANCIENT INDIAN METHODS.

In the recent times a lot of us have grown to become vision less. Laziness acts upon a human body in mutuality to the ever increasing technology.

We are all failing to comprehend to a more active lifestyle and the ability to have a positive outlook towards our career, relationships, business and health is decreasing day by day.

We can trace back to our ancient culture to find remedies to overcome these situations of inactiveness in us. Even the Western countries are now adopting ancient Indian solutions in order to solve issues related to lifelessness, depression etc.


Let’s view some ancient Indian ways to shoo away our laziness and everything that follows it.

  1. Yoga : Yoga has found a profound meaning in releasing body stress and inactivity. Along with being easy, yoga asanas such as kapalbhati, vajra-asana, padma asana provide body stimulation.

  2. Ayurvedic Remedies : There are many herbs in Ayurveda that help cure lethargy and inactiveness in the fields of career, health and relationships. For example, Ashwagandha, Amla, Brahmi, etc.

  3. Vaastu Shastra : To increase positivity and build an aura of prosperity, Vaastu is proven to be an optimal method since ancient times. Making minor changes in your house and office spaces can have a huge effect on mental and physical well-being.

  4. Chakra Sadhana : All the seven chakras in our body impact our thinking and overall mental well-being. Balancing every chakra is important for the overall balance of the body. But for an active and positivity filled life, the Root Chakra (aka Muladhar Chakra) needs to be balanced.


We’ll now see an overview regarding the Muladhar Chakra

Root Chakra or Muladhar Chakra is the first of the seven primary chakras in our body and it is considered to be the most important chakra for one’s overall well-being. It differentiates between human and animal consciousness and thus is responsible for personality development. Located at the base end of our spinal cord it controls the reproductive organs, immune system and the large intestine.


An imbalance in the Muladhar Chakra causes prostate problems, arthritis, obesity, weak bones and physical structure leading to an inactive lifestyle.


Following remedies can be followed to awaken the Muladhar Chakra for a better lifestyle and overall well-being :

  1. Meditating while visualizing lotus symbol at the location of the Chakra (i.e. base of spinal cord)

  2. Walking barefoot on the grass to connect with the Earth as the root element

  3. Facing your favorable direction (according to Vaastu)

  4. Applying essential oils at your pulse point while meditating

  5. Eating red fruits such as apples, beetroots, strawberries pomegranates etc.


This way you can activate your most important chakra and lead an energetic routine in fields of career, business, health and relationships.
